Ronnie Tarchichi’s educational accomplishments reflect his deep commitment to advancing his knowledge and the opportunities available to others. He holds two doctoral degrees, beginning with a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Temple University in 2020, specializing in Special Education. This degree demonstrates his focus on addressing the unique needs of students. In 2016, he earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Rowan University, equipping him with the expertise to lead educational institutions effectively.

In addition to these doctorates, Dr. Tarchichi has earned six master’s degrees, showcasing his broad academic interests and dedication. Between 2015 and 2018, he completed two Master of Arts degrees at Rowan University, concentrating on Learning Disabilities and Special Education. He also holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from The College of New Jersey, which he was awarded in 2011. His other master’s degrees include a Master of Biomedical Science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, a Master of Science in Biology from Rutgers University, and a Master of Education in Physical Education and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey, completed in 2005. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Philosophy from West Virginia University in 2004.

K-12 Leadership


Since 2024, Dr. Tarchichi has served as the Executive Director of Education and Principal at the Mary Dobbins School & Legacy Treatment Services in Hainesport, New Jersey. His work oversees programs for grades 5 through 12, fostering academic and personal growth for students. His leadership includes enhancing school facilities and expanding educational opportunities to serve the student’s diverse needs better.

From 2016 to 2024, Dr. Tarchichi was Superintendent of Pennsauken Public Schools, managing a $172 million budget and spearheading significant advancements in the district. Under his leadership, he has introduced more than 20 career and technical education programs, including culinary arts, HVAC, cosmetology, and Air Force JROTC. He also established articulation agreements with colleges, enabling students to graduate high school with up to 60 college credits. His efforts led to the creation of the Roosevelt STEM School, Pennsauken’s first top-ranked state school, and the construction of cutting-edge facilities like a $7 million Field House and an eight-lane competition track.

Dr. Tarchichi served as Superintendent and Principal of the Woodlynne School District from 2013 to 2016. During this time, he secured a $4 million ROD Grant for facility improvements and significantly raised student achievement levels. His contributions earned him recognition from the Woodlynne Mayor and Police Chief with a Leadership Award.

Contributions to Higher Education


Dr. Tarchichi has also made meaningful contributions to higher education. From 2012 to 2017, he was an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Rowan University, teaching courses that prepared students for careers in health and science. He also taught biology, chemistry, and microbiology at Burlington County College and Mercer County College. His work with Temple University’s Upward Bound Program also allowed him to mentor high school students, helping them prepare for college through foundational science education.

Culinary Arts Experience


In addition to his educational accomplishments, Dr. Tarchichi has a unique background in the culinary arts. For 25 years, he was the Head Cook in his family’s restaurant. This experience taught him valuable skills in food preparation, customer service, and teamwork. Working closely with his mother, he gained a deep understanding of dedication and perseverance—values that influenced his leadership and education approach.

Certifications and Recognitions


Dr. Tarchichi holds numerous certifications as Superintendent, Principal, Supervisor, and Certified Educational Facilities Manager (CEFM). He is also certified in various instructional areas such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Culinary Arts, Driver’s Education, Health and Physical Education, and Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD). These certifications are recognized in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

His achievements have been recognized through multiple awards. In 2024, he received the Superintendent’s Academic Achievement Award for creating New Jersey’s top-ranked state school and the Courageous Leadership Award in 2020 for his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic. His efforts have also been featured in educational publications, highlighting his innovative contributions to career and technical education.

Research and Publications


Dr. Tarchichi has contributed to educational research through two published dissertations. His work at Temple University focused on strategies for improving learning outcomes for students with disabilities. At the same time, his study at Rowan University examined interdisciplinary teaching methods to enhance primary and secondary education.
